This page shows a larger view of the design:
THE ITCH OF
LITERATURE.For all T-shirts, the designs are printed 10" X 10"
(ten inches by ten inches square) in full color on
high-quality shirts. The design area of the T-shirt may
seem a little stiff when you receive it, but it will
soften up after the first washing. For all other items,
the designs are printed in relation to the item's size.
Because the designs pictured here have been optimized for
the web, and also because computer monitors vary in
their color display, there may be some slight difference
in the way the designs look on your actual T-shirt. For
faster loading, this image is smaller and contain less
detail than the actual item.
THE ITCH OF LITERATURE: Samuel Lover(1797-1868),
Irish novelist, artist, songwriter and musician, was born
in Dublin. Lover began life as an artist
and his work was exhibited at the Royal Academy. He attracted
attention as an author with the publication of his work, Legends and Stories of
Ireland. Thereafter, he continued to write about the life,
lore and legends of Ireland. His full quote, shortened on
our design, is "When once the itch of literature comes
over a man, nothing can cure it but the scratching of a
pen. But if you have not a pen, I suppose you must scratch
any way you can."
THE ITCH OF LITERATURE is
available on T-shirts and other garments, on pins,
magnets, mugs, a writer's journal and more. CLICK
